1983 Overmolded Series 713 connector assemblies revolutionize the market.
1985 Series 719 snap-latch connectors, with only 8 mm OD, enter the market.
1988 Custom-connector for HP Medical.
1994 Shielded, IP 67 Series 423 enters the market.
1995 Custom connector with bayonet locking for infusion pump made by Braun Medical.
1996 Custom connector for Chrysler navigation system.
2001 Introduction of patented push-pull connector Series 440.

From its humble beginnings in 1960 in a small machine shop, to today’s major international supplier of high-quality cylindrical connectors, Franz Binder GmbH & Co. is truly a success story.

Franz Binder started the company in 1960 as a supplier of machined parts for the connector industry. Soon he expanded his production to include complete connectors. After continuous increase over the last 50 years, the Binder Group today employs over 1,500 individuals at its headquarters in Neckarsulm, Germany and at various international subsidiaries.
