M16 Connectors with Screw Termination

Camarillo, CA – Binder-USA has expanded its Series 423 and Series 581 connector line with the addition of M16 cable connectors featuring screw termination. The M16 connectors are ideally suited for commercial and industrial applications requiring a solderless assembly.

The new design features hex screws for terminating the cable conductors thereby eliminating the need for soldering and simplifying field assembly. This termination scheme to the Series 423 IP67 and 581 IP40 connectors is based on the design of the popular M12 sensor connectors.

Male and female versions are available with 3, 4 or 5 gold-plated contacts and accept cables with an outer diameter of 4mm to 8mm. Various mating receptacles are available for a complete connecting system.

Binder-USA Adds Rear-Mount 7/8″ Screw-Locking Receptacles

Camarillo, CA – Binder-USA is pleased to announce the expansion of its Series 820 7/8″ screw-locking connectors with rear-mountable receptacles. This addition brings more mounting options in order to fit various application requirements. The Series 820 connectors and receptacles are ideally suited for industrial automation applications.

The new male and female receptacles are available with 2+PE, 4 or 4+PE gold-plated contacts. All receptacles are prewired with crimped UL-approved 18 AWG leads. When fully mated, the receptacles are sealed to an IP 67 rating protecting the connection from dust and debris. For a complete connecting system, Binder-USA offers mating 7/8″ field-attachable connectors and cordsets.

M8 Panel-Mount Receptacles

Camarillo, CA – Binder-USA has expanded its M8 Series 718 and 768 connector line with a range of new panel-mounted receptacles. Options include PCB mountable and prewired versions. The M8 connectors are highly durable and their small size makes them ideal for use with industrial sensors.

The new male or female receptacles are available with 3, 4 or 6 gold-plated contacts. The prewired versions have crimped leads and are offered in front- and rear-mounted housings. PCB-mountable versions feature straight or right-angle PCB pins and a shielding sheet for mounting onto printed circuit boards. The receptacles are mating-compatible with all M8 field-attachable connectors and cordsets .

M16 Connectors Re-Engineered

Camarillo, CA – Binder-USA has improved the design of the Series 423 M16 short version connector. The re-engineered connector features a new metal cable collet which replaces the previous plastic version. This change makes a more robust connector for harsh environments, while simplifying the installation and ensuring a more reliable performance.

The improved M16 connectors are available with gold-plated contacts ranging from 2 to 19 pins. When mated and locked the connection is IP 67-rated ensuring protection from liquids and debris. A complete connecting system is available with male and female versions. The new parts will gradually be available replacing previous stock over the coming months.

M9 Cordsets Unshielded for Low-Cost

The unshielded feature provides a cost-effective alternative to the shielded M9 connectors. The connectors are ideally suited for commercial applications that do not require EMI shielding.

The M9 connectors have the option of 3, 5 or 8 gold-plated contacts in male and female versions. When mated and locked the connectors fulfill an IP-67 rating. Cordsets are offered with cable lengths of 2 and 5 meters. Series 712 field-attachable connectors and receptacles make a complete connecting system. The new connectors are available for purchase immediately.

The T-splitter is used to connect several devices for a power supply or a bus connection. Designed for DeviceNet applications, the 7/8” connectors are ideal for use in industrial automation environments.

The connectors feature a female to male and female connection with the option of 3, 4 or 5 gold-plated contacts. When properly mated the connection is sealed to an IP-67 rating and has excellent immunity to vibrations. Torque Wrench for 7/8” Field-Attachable Connectors

7/8” Series 820 connectors. The tool is designed to aid in connecting and disconnecting 7/8”
field-attachable cable connectors with hex shaped locking nuts. The 7/8” connectors are ideally
suited for DeviceNet applications in industrial automation environments.

The tool is designed to tighten hex nuts to the correct torque value as well as ensure Series 820
connectors are mated properly guaranteeing an IP67-rated connection. The tool also allows
connectors to be easily unmated as it locks when motion is reversed. Each wrench features a
comfortable grip and the jaws of the tool are replaceable and easily removed for cleaning
purposes.

Stainless Steel M12 Connectors with New Specifications

Camarillo, CA – Binder-USA announces an upgraded version of its M12 stainless steel connectors. The upgrade includes larger cable outlets and increased environmental protection with high-grade seals. The newly upgraded connectors are ideally suited for applications in the food and beverage industry, chemical plants, and process automation.

Each connector features a robust stainless steel housing providing protection from corrosive materials and fluids. Cable seals consist of high-grade Viton®. The new cable clamps are made of Teflon® providing an IP69K-rated environmental protection. Cable outlets range from 3 to 8.6mm in diameter. Connectors are available with A-, B- and D-coding with 4 to 8 gold-plated contacts. The upgraded connectors are part of the Binder-USA Series 713, 715 and 825.

connectors. When mated to a male or female connector, a cap will provide IP67-rated environmental
protection. These caps make the push-pull connectors ideal for use in commercial and industrial fields.

The cap is designed to provide an IP67-rated environmental protection from liquids and debris while the
connector is detached from its mating connector. Each cap is made of brass, which fits securely to the
push-pull connector or receptacle, and attaches to the cable or panel via a polyurethane rubber strap to
avoid any loss of parts. The new protective caps are available for male and female field-attachable
connectors and panel-mount receptacles.
