Connector type
The connector type can be used to distinguish our products for installation in a device housing from cable parts. The connector type describes the difference between connectors that are mounted on enclosures and connectors that are mounted on cables.
Rated voltage
The rated voltage is the electrical voltage assigned to the connector.
Shielded Option
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) means that a connector is shielded or shieldable. This is required when it is necessary to protect the signals or data conducted by the connector, as well as to protect external devices, from disturbance due to electromagnetic effects.
Cable type
By selecting the cable type, a preselection for the respective application can be carried out.
Cable Jacket Type
The material of the cable jacket. PUR, TPE, TMPU or TPE-U cables each have different technical properties.
Cable color
The color of the cable jacket.
Cable length
Our items with molded or pre-assembled cables have different cable lengths. It describes the length of the cable from the end of the connector. If the desired cable length is not included, please contact our sales department.

Unshielded cable

Unshielded cabling is used widely in applications for power or signal in areas free of electromagnetic interference. Unshielded twisted pair (UTP) ethernet cables enable high-speed data transmission in various electrical applications, including industrial automation. It is commonly used in network applications. UTP cables are an economical solution for data transmission that provides reliable electrical signal transfer. In contrast to shielded cables, UTP ethernet cables and unshielded cables do not have an additional shield layer for protection. However, it can still be an excellent fit for applications that are not exposed to challenging environments or damage.

The cable jacket is a vital part of unshielded cables, since it protects to a certain degree against the external environment, damage, and signal interference. It is essential to consider all electrical parameters when deciding on the right solution for a customer. Unshielded cables are available in different cable jacket types, including PVC, PUR, and TPE, each offering varying levels of flexibility, durability, and temperature resistance. They come in various colors, such as black, grey, teal, and yellow. Other design options include the number of wires, which can vary from 3 to 12, depending on the needs.

In our webshop, we offer 100-meter bulk cables as standard products, as well as variable lengths from 10 to 499 meters, according to the customer’s needs. Unshielded cables are ideal for applications that demand reliable signal transfer and easy installation in environments with no electromagnetic interference.
